Hello,paperPino has a new look.
Over the past few months, I have been working on a complete reorganisation of the website: a cleaner design, simpler navigation, and above all more room for images, videos and the construction details of the models. The address remains the same: https://www.paperpino.net
The website is now mainly in English, making it more accessible to an international audience. For those who prefer to read it in Italian, the automatic translation tools now available in major browsers provide a quick way to view the pages in Italian.
The reopening is gradual. Over the years, paperPino has gathered a substantial collection of automata, paper models, globes and sculptures. I am revisiting these older projects one by one, updating their texts, images, videos and downloadable materials before making them public again.
For this reason, only part of the collection will be available online during the first few weeks. All models will gradually be republished, keeping their original dates whenever possible, while new projects will continue to be added to the site.
One of the new website additions is Monthly News, a monthly page featuring models, automata, paper art and other interesting projects found online: a small selection of things I think are worth sharing.
Do take a look around the new paperPino. And if you find something that does not work, a broken link, or simply have a comment or suggestion, please write to me: this reopening phase is also a good opportunity to improve anything that needs attention.
